We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in the heart of the financial district in San Francisco.Your primary focus will be on ensuring a smooth month-end close, adhering to US GAAP standards, and actively contributing to the development of processes as we enhance our accounting and finance functions. This role is perfect for someone with an analytical mindset, a robust understanding of general accounting, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.You will serve as a vital cross-functional business partner, wearing many hats and expertly juggling multiple deadlines while leading a team of three talented accountants.

This is a hybrid position in our San Francisco office (2-3x/week).

What you'll do:

• Direct the monthly accounting close process including the timely and accurate reporting of the Company's financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Manage month-end close for various General Ledger functions; including review of journal entries, account reconciliations, analysis of results, and close reporting packages.
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis
• Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversee AP management, including data input into Coupa and NetSuite
• Review of Payroll-prep and processing of bi-weekly payroll
• Assist with financial statement audit preparation and comply with related requests

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant accounting work experience. Public accounting and/or public company experience is preferred
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, financial and operational controls
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
• Must be advanced in Excel, and experienced with NetSuite (or another large scale ERP)
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
• SQL, Power-Query, Power-Pivot, and Power BI proficiency preferred
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to self-direct
• Collaborative approach to working on projects with a team that values diverse perspectives
• Must have excellent ability to find solutions in challenging situations and communicate well with internal/external partners

Compensation:

• Our base pay ranges from $120,000 - $150,000 for this position. Offers will be reflective of the candidates location and experience.
• Please note the salary range listed is just one component of a competitive compensation package which includes a company stock plan
