Custodian I Dogwood Elementary School Description Cleans, maintains, and secures classrooms, offices, restrooms, halls, stairs, and public areas in Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS)-owned buildings, as assigned. Qualifications Required Any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to completion of the sixth grade. May be required to work an evening and/or night shift on a regular or rotating basis. Knowledge of custodial methods, equipment, procedures, and cleaning materials. Ability to understand written and verbal instructions. Ability to learn the appropriate use of cleaning products. Ability to recognize and report hazards and apply safe work methods. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Salary Range $37,368 - $59,598 Salary Grade [Salary Information] Unified Scale-Schedule A/Grade 001 Contract Length 260-Day Contract Pay Frequency Biweekly Percent Full-Time Full Time Closing Date 20-May-2025 Job Type Custodian Open Until Filled No Re-Adv.
