Job Description

Our client, a leader in factory automation, is seeking an Electronics Technician to join their team. As an Electronics Technician, you will be part of a dynamic engineering department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electronics Technician 

Location: Johnson City, TN

Pay Range: $28.00 per hour

Shift: 8am-5pm (40 hours/week)

What's the Job?

• Troubleshooting and resolving complex electronics issues using various test equipment.
• Performing soldering and hands-on circuit repairs, including both SMT and through-hole techniques.
• Building and maintaining custom test rigs, ensuring all test equipment is regularly calibrated.
• Assisting engineers in research and development activities, including prototyping and testing electronics for new products.
• Investigating returned products and supporting root cause analysis on customer issues.

What's Needed?

• Associates Degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the electrical or electronics engineering
• Strong understanding of electronics diagnostics, circuit testing, and fault finding.
• Competency in soldering, wiring, reading schematics, and building electronic assemblies.
• Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable using technical documentation and managing equipment records.
