Job Title: Investor Relations Analyst – Venture Capital & Growth Equity

Location: On-site – La Jolla, CA

Duration : Fulltime

Pay Range : $70,000 to $80,000 + benefits

Position Overview

• The Investor Relations Analyst will support venture capital and growth equity funds. Core responsibilities include assisting existing and prospective clients with due diligence processes and supporting the creation of marketing materials and investor communications for both new and existing funds.

Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of institutional client communications, such as quarterly investor reports, cash flow notices, transaction summaries, and ad hoc investment updates for commingled funds and separately managed accounts
• Compose market commentary, portfolio company updates, and analysis of valuation changes
• Coordinate with internal teams including fund accounting, tax, compliance, and legal for fund communication approvals and investor inquiries
• Prepare investor marketing materials including customized presentations, transaction summaries, and materials for events such as annual and onsite meetings
• Respond to ongoing investor inquiries and monitoring requests by compiling and creating quantitative and qualitative information for due diligence questionnaires
• Collaborate with various internal teams to gather and organize information in a clean and client-friendly format
• Maintain a database of qualitative and quantitative portfolio company metrics, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
• Analyze and synthesize market, firm, and financial data for fund communications
• Maintain and update the Salesforce business development database
• Support additional projects and tasks as needed

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience
• Familiarity with venture capital or private equity analytics, reporting, and due diligence processes
• Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to represent the firm professionally in all communications
• Self-motivated with strong initiative and adaptability
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
