Job Description

We're looking for a motivated and dependable Evening Line Cook to join our bistro team! This is an entry-level position- no experience necessary. We'll provide on-site training to help you learn everything you need to know. As our Line Cook, you'll be the solo chef during evening hours with support from a bartender, managing the line independently. That means you'll need to stay cool under pressure during peak times and be comfortable juggling multiple tickets are once. Attention to detail, consistency and a passion for quality are key to success in this role. Hours: 4:00PM to 11:00PM Days: Tuesday-Friday with rotating weekends as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Efficiently prepares food items as ordered.
• Exercises food safety and kitchen sanitation practices in to deliver a quality product.
• Weighs, measures, and mixes ingredients according to recipes.
• Reviews daily assignments with supervisor.
• Plans for anticipated demand throughout shift.
• Maintains cleanliness and working order of work area, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Prepares and maintains the line and par levels as required by the current menu.
• Keeps walk in cooler/freezer organized.
• May assist with inventory, temp logs and waste logs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of food service regulations.
• Skillfully uses hand tools or machines needed for the position.
• Able to work in fast paced environment.
• Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy; able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.
