About Our Client:

  • Our client is an international biopharmaceutical company specializing in oncology and immunology, with a strong presence in the CRO (Contract Research Organization) sector, dedicated to advancing innovative therapies through cutting-edge research and global clinical development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively generate new business by identifying and engaging prospective clients through networking, outreach, and on-site visits.
  • Effectively promote the technical capabilities in oncology, immunology, and antibody drug discovery.
  • Provide consultative, solution-oriented sales tailored to clients’ scientific needs.
  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with existing clients through excellent customer support and communication.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement strategies for client acquisition and retention.
  • Collect and analyze market intelligence, including trends in pricing, competition, and industry developments.
  • Monitor competitor activities and contribute to strategic planning for business development.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or business development within a preclinical CRO or relevant biotech/pharma environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Bay Area biotech/pharma market with an existing network of industry contacts.
  • Experience in antibody drug discovery and protein engineering is highly desirable.
  • Master’s degree in a scientific discipline required; PhD or MBA preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and navigate complex client needs.
  • Proven ability to turn strategy into actionable outcomes; strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of energy and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
