Bilingual, Registered Dietitian / Licensed Dietician Nutritionist (FL)
Duties
Delivers professional activities in the Case Management job family with a focus on Wellness Coaching.
Supports health promotion and disease prevention and care management services to the plan's members.
Counsel’s individuals and groups on basic rules of good nutrition, healthy eating habits, and exercise to improve their quality of life.
Develops and participates in health promotion programs to promote client health, alleviate stress, and prevent physical or mental fatigue.
Monitors participants' progress and adapts programs as needed.
Apply standard techniques and procedures to routine instructions that require professional knowledge in specialist areas.
Provides standard professional advice and creates initial reports/analyses for review.
May provide guidance, coaching, and direction to more junior members of the team in Wellness Coaching.
Skills
Working knowledge of motivational strategies, materials development, training and consultation required, proven administrative abilities with strong computer and software application skills. A high energy level and excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Passion for health improvement, Ability to work independently toward established priorities, demonstrated ability to set priorities and Bilingual speaking.
Minimum 3 years of public speaking and 3 years' experience in the health and wellness field.
MUST BE - Registered Dietitian, Bilingual, excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education
BS required in a health-related field (nutrition, ex phys, nursing, emotional well being)| MS Preferred
